Professional Review

The Sims™ 3 is a life simulation game available for PC. In its cute-looking world, you're given almost an unrestricted freedom of beginning a new life. Build a house, have a family, raise kids, launch a normal or a bizarre career and complete various challenges. Download The Sims™ 3 to embody the wildest life fantasies of yours!

Graphics 4/5

It's been 10 years since The Sims™ 3 release date. Its successor has sleeker visual and effects. However, the game doesn't look too bleak or forlorn, compared to the freshest entry on the series. The in-game world is very flashy and splashy and nicely conveys the atmosphere of the suburbs/downtown/boutique alley etc.

The Sims themselves have a lot of appearance details and quite sophisticated body language. Thankfully, animation doesn't stutter, when they express themselves through movement or dancing. The Barbie-like aesthetic is highly prevalent in the game's artwork, but it keeps the sim's idea afloat finely.

Gameplay 5/5

In the latest The Sims™ 3 update, you can do all types of things. Create your quirky humanoid facsimile, using the editor: skin color, facial features, hairstyle, etc. They can be tweaked to your likeness. Build a house of your dream — be it a humble shack or a deluxe mansion. You can design its interior and exterior, using numerous decor elements, such as windows, blinds, chimneys, lawn, wallpapers, etc.

Your Sim may have dreams, life aspirations and emotions. Depending on what personality you shape, they can pick a career. Some settle in the office, and others prefer working as chefs or baristas. You can be a street musician or a successful novelist. And even running a mafia cartel is a career opportunity too. Raise kids, date other sims, become a killer-widow, hang out at beauty salons— your call.

Controls 5/5

Controlling the game is as easy as pie. Often you'll need just a mouse to do most of the work. The keyboard is needed for camera rotation, object resizing or entering cheat-codes, if you need those.

Replay Value 4.5/5

The Sims™ 3 gameplay has almost unlimited content. You're the only one, who writes plots and stories here. Odds are you'll return to the game to design another zany persona to put him/her in a bunch of strange situations. Or maybe you'll be allured by one of the many The Sims™ 3 challenges.

Conclusion

Our The Sims™ 3 review recommends the game to everyone, who enjoys creating life scenarios. You can direct entire movies and series, architect astonishing houses and share it all with the fan community. Have a party with your friends online, ramble in the city or build a criminal syndicate — it's up to your vision.

Conclusion

Love and drama, partying and survival in the streets, dynasties and brief romantic affairs... Download The Simsā„¢ 3 and dive into the kaleidoscope of the adventures only a simulated life can give!
