Professional Review

Tasty Planet is an eat-them-all game, in which you start out as a humble piece of a scientifically developed goo. But like in all good stories, the experiment goes wrong, and you get an appetite for munching, which can't be satiated ever. Download Tasty Planet and have molecules for breakfast and space stations for dinner!

Graphics 4.5/5

Goofy and quirky, the game looks very cartoony. Hence Tasty Planet specs: 512 MB RAM and 30 MB of disk space. But the game doesn't look obsolete — goo's movements are pretty smooth, and the speed nicely escalates with every new level. As your munching accompaniment, there will be soft and light, yet brisk jazzy music, which almost says bon appétit!

Gameplay 4.5/5

Some mad scientists came up with an idea to create a sapient goo that would do magically fast bathroom cleaning on its own. But little did they know they made some fatal miscalculations... As a result, the Goo, which you control, begins devouring particles of filth but only at first. The more it eats — the bigger becomes both its size and appetite for munchies!

As a result, soon enough you'll switch to insects, small mammals, and even cats. It's heartbreaking and funny to hear them meowing pitifully as you devour one kitty after another. But you won't stop at that! In Tasty Planet gameplay, the Goo can grow that big it'll be able to gormandize park benches, cars, airplanes, villages, cities, etc.

And so on, until you have the entire planet on your dish. But that's not all to that: once you're done with Earth, there will be space stations, satellites, and spaceship to taste. And even the whole galaxy won't make it away from your hunger — turns out Milky Way is a dessert after all. To achieve it, be quick enough to snatch your food and avoid dangers in the face of other predators, police cars, etc.

Controls 4/5

Tasty Planet has the standard Keyboard + Mouse mechanics. The direction is WASD etc. — nothing complicated. But it's recommended to have a gamepad, which feels more ergonomic: the game's tempo has a tendency to increase the more you progress.

Replay Value 4.5/5

Although simple and undemanding, Tasty Planet is a lot of fun. Thanks to its upbeat tempo, goofy plot, hilarious usage of objects and people as food and evolution process, it becomes quite enjoyable and addictive. Which means you won't put it on the shelf after 2-3 runs.

Conclusion

Tasty Planet full game is funny, simple and adorable to an extent. It doesn't pretend to be an epic or a legendary title. But it offers you some nice relaxation and a quirky story to play through. In other words, Tasty Planet game comes in handy, whenever you got another minute to spare or just want something absurd and energetic to play. Our Tasty Planet review recommends it as an anti-stress remedy.

Conclusion

Download Tasty Planet and see if the starving Goo will ever stop its hunger! It's okay if it doesn't.
